My New GoTo Recorder

I’m a musician who has wasted more money on apps used to jot down inspirational song ideas. There was always a problem with uniformity across all devices. And when I wanted to get the recordings from my Mac, it created another time-wasting conundrum. No other app developer gave me the option of a Mac based app that syncs to my other devices. So well thought out in its simplicity. Truly an elegant solution!

With the Mac app I am able to add all my old recordings made with numerous other worthless apps. You simply open the cloud folder that Just Press Record creates and add folders which contain your archived recordings. The audio files can also be in different formats. WAV and MP3 formats work just fine. I haven’t tested others.

It’s sad that people gave this app a low rating because they did not read that this is a cloud-based app. That is hardly an issue because it’s what makes this thing work on my phone, pad and Mac by creating one common place for files recorded on any of your devices. Brilliant.

Wish list: Ability to sort recording lists on the app by name (up or down). As it is, recordings are sorted by date (most recent) only. It would be nice to have the option to sort by date oldest to newest.
